This is a magnificent box in Victorian style. Even though the aspect of the cover may look complicated, the mounting of the box has been made extremely easy, with inner not visible pieces that help to glue everything in position straightforwardly. I have also designed this box so that it can be adorned with beads, this is a growing trend in scroll saw. You can see two examples of this below. The round inner cuts in the middle of the flowers and some others in the central part of the cover have this purpose. The pattern has been designed to use 1/4 and 1/8 inches wood or 8 and 6 mm wood. By scaling the pattern appropriately any other wood thickness can also be used. These are the dimensions of the shelf depending on the wood thickness you use:
