024 - Two French mirror frames

This is a pair of beautiful fretworked frames to be used with pictures or mirrors. They can be scaled to any desired size and cut in any wood width. These patterns are based in an old French design that I have restored carefully in the computer.

These pictures have been sent by Boris Radovskiy from the USA. He is a member of the Carolina Scrollers club. He has obtained a striking and subtle result by combining cherry, mahogany and walnut woods.

Please note that this pattern is registered and copyrighted. If you would like to have it I offer it for 8 € plus shipping. The pattern is computer made, which provides total precision, and nicely printed for convenient scrolling. Please write me to info@finescrollsaw.com to buy this pattern or for any questions.

These pictures have been kindly sent by Oleg Velesjuk from Kaliningrad, Russia: "Here is the result of cutting one of the frames. It is made with 15 mm ash wood. The size of the mirror has been increased to obtain 55 x 77cm". These pictures have been sent by Tom Cocks from the USA: "I made the frame so it could be hung from a wall if desired. The support is changed to a French Curve. The frame is routed to accept the glass and picture. The wood is Sycamore and the finish is semi-gloss polyurethane".
