This is a magnificent Trinity Cross delicately ornamented with
floral motives. The groups of three circles represent the Christian
doctrine of the Trinity, which states that God is three consubstantial persons
at the same time: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit, as "one God in three Divine Persons".
This pattern is based in a very old Italian design from the 19th century that I have reconstructed entirely in the computer.
The
Trinity Cross has been designed to use 1/8 and 1/4 inches wood
or 3 and 6 mm wood. By scaling the pattern appropriately any other
wood thickness can also be used. These are the dimensions of the
Trinity Cross depending on the wood thickness you use:
