044 - Japanese lantern

This a very decorative lantern in Japanese style. The sides show four different Japanese scenes. The text below the scenes reads "Japan, the land of the rising sun". The inner part of the sides can be covered with the material of your preference to produce different luminous effects. The pattern is based in a very old English design that I have completely redrawn in the computer.

This piece is designed to be made preferably with 1/4 inches wood or with 6 mm wood. The following table gives the dimensions of the piece depending on the wood thickness you use:

Height Width
1/4 in. wood 11,1 in. 7,1 in.
6 mm wood 26.6 cm 17 cm
