011 - The Gothic Cross

This is a very elaborate and intricate cross. It has rich gothic ornamentation. In the center of the cross there is a simple but effective portrait of Jesus. A beautiful and sober base completes the design. The cross is fixed to the base by two discrete pieces of wood, somehow making the impression that the cross floats in the air. The sides of the cross are formed by two pieces of wood, both of them fretworked. When the interior is linen with a contrasting linen, the result is very striking. This cross requires many hours of work but the result will be admired by everybody.

The patterns have been designed to use 1/4 and 1/8 inches wood or 6 and 3 mm wood. These are the dimensions of the ceoss depending on the wood thickness you use:
