This is a very charming vase stand. On the main base, four fairies
hold a ring where the vase leans.
The pattern is based in
an old English design from the beginning of the XX century that I
have entirely reconstructed in the computer.
The original design was
much simpler. Basically, the project was formed by two interlaced
pieces. I have completed the design adding a fully ornamented base
and some more ornaments to the fairies.
The type of vases for which
this project is designed are not east to find. The plans include the
patterns for the most adequate vase for this projects, just in case
you would like to turn it yourself in wood.
The pattern has been
designed to use 1/4 and 1/8 inches wood or 6 and 3 mm wood. By
scaling the pattern appropriately any other wood thickness can also
be used. These are the dimensions of the vase holder depending on the
wood thickness you use:

Height |
Diameter |
1/4 in. wood |
17,1 in. |
11,1 in. |
