222 - Baroque coach coffer

scroll saw fretwork model of a carriage coach in baroque style

This exquisite coffer, crafted in the form of a baroque coach, is a true masterpiece. The original Italian design has been meticulously reconstructed, retaining only the remarkable ornamentation. To enhance the intricate details of the decoration, the model’s original size has been enlarged. The design includes some curved pieces, but their assembly has been simplified with a specially designed frame to which they can be easily glued. While this model requires a significant amount of time and effort to complete, it promises to keep you engaged for many weeks. Once finished, this baroque coach will become a stunning decorative centerpiece, adding elegance and sophistication to any room.

This coach has been designed to use 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8 inches wood or 3, 6 and 9 mm wood. By scaling the pattern appropriately any other wood thickness can also be used. These are the dimensions of the coach depending on the wood thickness you use:

Height Length Depth
1/16, 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8 inches wood 20.5 in. 34 in. 14.3 in.
